Having learned the power of a story well told, Jim has been helping business owners tell their stories through customized business profiles since the late 1990s.
Jim Brumm grew up in a family of writers and editors. After serving as a submariner in the U.S. Navy, he published and wrote for several magazines, including California Diver (now Rodale Scuba Diving), Napa Valley Life Magazine, Inside Napa Valley, Wine Country Cuisine, Napa Valley Family, and Tahoe Magazine.
In his capacity as a publisher, Jim worked closely with clients to help chart their advertising campaigns and design their advertisements.
He worked as the staff writer at an environmental firm in Sonoma County, and was the head writer for a major Sonoma County web design company, providing content for websites. He also provided articles and other content for Wine Industry Network.com, The Green Sheet, and Go Local Sonoma County.
For the better part of a decade Jim penned a popular weekly newspaper column called Fatherhood, where he wrote about the joys, tribulations, and adventures of being a single dad.
He is also the author of the well-received book, Long-Term Thinking for a Short-Sighted World, published by Muse Harbor Publishing in 2012.
Jim is a musician and award-winning songwriter. He performs at various venues throughout Sonoma County
